Lemon adds to the flavor of this herb. To make this drink, using a blender mix 3 cups of water and 4 tablespoon kava powder. Strain the liquid. Next add 2 tablespoon and 1/4 cup lemon juice. Mix well. Serve and drink it chilled.
Savor Kava with Coconut Milk
This drink is known as Cocoawa. In order to prepare this drink mix 8 oz coconut milk with 2 tablespoon Kava powder using a blender. Put through a sieve ad strain the juice. It is ready to sip.
It has been proved that Kava is the safe herb but should not be taken by kids, pregnant women, lactating mothers, liver disease patients and people addicted to alcohol. Also if an individual is on any medication then consult a doctor prior to taking this herb for curing insomnia or sleep apnea. The standardized dosage of Kava is 100 - 200 mg once in a day. 2-4 grams of dried root can be taken for making any beverage. It is better to keep the dosage less because then body does not get obsessed to the herb.
