Cocoa Butter: 1 Oz. (28.3 grams)
Rose Water: 2 Oz (56.6 grams)
Camphor Oil: 2 Drops
Lavender Oil: 3 Drops

Cocoa Butter is a must have ingredient in any herbal moisturizer. The reason being it retains the natural skin moisture and if required it replaces the existing pimple prone natural oil from the skin. Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter is its scientific name. It too like almond oil gets absorbed quickly with the skin layers.

Rose Water has the exclusive property of balancing pH balance of the skin. This feature is crucial for combination skin as the skin has to cope with oily skin and dry skin at the same time. Rose water penetrates inside the skin pores and cleans all the accumulated dirt. It refreshes the tender skin cells and tissues.

Method for Preparing Herbal Combination Skin Moisturizer
Initiate the process by melting the cocoa butter in a double boiler. After it melts, add almond oil and stir it well. Then turn off the flame of the gas burner. When the temperature is cooled down 50% that means the mixture is manageable to touch with bare finger then slowly add rose water drop by drop. Ensure to keep stirring the fusion of oils. Once rose water is mixed well, add 2 drops of camphor oil and then 3 drops of lavender oil one after the other. Let the mixture cool down completely. Store it a dark glass bottle and keep it away from sunshine.

Apply the Herbal Moisturizer on Combination Skin Gently
In between the palms rub the moisturizer and apply it on the skin. Take less quantity, sufficient enough to reach all parts of the face and neck. It need not be massaged on the skin. One has to make sure that before applying it, the skin must be well cleaned to be free from dirt.

The combination skin has blend of oily and dry skin hence the prepared herbal moisturizer must be used maximum twice in a day. Use it once in the morning and next in the evening. It can be used for the entire year but in very less quantity.
